Aesthetics
The
Aesthetics Department strongly believes that every child is a creative artist. We
aim to nurture and inculcate the love for the arts in every pupil and provide
an opportunity for pupils to connect and understand arts and culture to daily
life and the environment. We also work towards cultivating creativity among the
pupils through different art experiences.
 Extensive
Aesthetics Programme
The
purpose of these programmes is to introduce
pupils to a range of art forms and create awareness by actively exposing pupils to different types of
aesthetics.
Aesthetics Exposure
Programme
The
Aesthetics Exposure Programme is a
structured 6-year curriculum which exposes
all our pupils with an enriching aesthetics experience. It will provide them with knowledge,
skills and appreciation of the arts. In
addition, some programmes are talent identification programmes, where
instructors will assess and handpick the best artist for the Enriching
Aesthetics Program (CCAs).
Enriching Aesthetics
Programme
 At
this level, pupils will be equipped
with the basic arts, dancing or singing skills required for their CCAs. All
pupils are also given the opportunity opt in various enrichment programmes. Also,
they will be enriched with
opportunities to perform in concerts or participate to exhibitions in school.
Aesthetics Excellence
Programme
Here,
pupils will be encouraged to move on to higher levels of excellence through active involvement in their aesthetics CCAs. The
masses continue to enjoy their journey in aesthetics appreciation through
aesthetics related courses and activities to enhance their aesthetics
experience in OLGC.
