The English curriculum is based on STELLAR (Strategies for English Language Learning and Reading) where the pupils are developed to be proficient in language and be effective communicators. The various pedagogical approaches to language learning and internal programmes that are learner-centred and developmentally appropriate promote a positive attitude and love towards language learning.
With the attainment of the Applied Learning Programme (ALP) for Drama and Literary Arts for LifE! (D’LitE), our pupils will be given even more opportunities to be appreciative of the elements of drama and the literary arts. This will pervade all aspects of school life- the Instructional Programmes (English, Mother Tongue, Mathematics and Science) as well as Character and Citizenship Education and Values In Action. |
